SEVEN FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES FOR

EFFECTIVE GODLY PARENTING

 

  1. In God's blue-print, the HUSBAND-WIFE relationship must be viewed as the priority human relationship. (Genesis 2:18-25)

  2. The key to the husband-wife relationship is one's fellowship with the LORD, while the key to the parent/child relationship is one's fellowship with their MATE. (Genesis 3:1-13)

  3. For Christian wives, SUBMISSION and RESPECT toward your husband's leadership is God's design and will for you. (Ephesians 5:22-24, 33)

  4. For Christian husbands, sacrificial LOVE and personal CARE of your wife is God's design and will for you. (Ephesians 5:25-33)

  5. For children, God's design and will is that they OBEY and HONOR their parents. (Ephesians 6:1-3)

6. God holds PARENTS responsible for the spiritual training of their children. (Ephesians 6:4)

  1. The goal of Christian parenting is to bring up your children in the NURTURE and ADMONITION of the LORD. (Ephesians 6:4)
