The WORLD’S LOVE vs. GOD’S LOVE

 

v     The world’s love says… “You’re a beauty.  I love you because I’m attracted to you.”

 

v     God’s love says… “I love by nature, so you get loved.” (1 John 4:8)

 

v     The world’s love says… “I love you until you offend me.”

 

v     God’s love says… “I love you in spite of the fact that you have repeatedly offended Me.”  (Romans 5:8)

 

v     The world loves… for what it can get.

 

v     God loves… for what He can give.

 

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  (John 3:16)
